It is also broadcast on NBC from 7 to 10 p.m. ET and features live performances by the Radio City Rockettes and special guests.
The tree at Rockefeller Center is a symbol of tradition, pride, and continuity. It is placed outside the 30-Rockefeller Plaza building between Fifth and Sixth avenues. The tree is typically put up in November, with the lighting taking place the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. Thousands of people are expected to attend the ceremony.
Brookfield Place
In the Battery Park City neighborhood, New York City, you can find a large office building complex and shopping center called Brookfield Place. It is located across West Street from the World Trade Center and overlooks the Hudson River. Each year, the mall has a beautiful Christmas holiday lighting display. This event is free to attend and has many different displays.
The Brookfield Place Christmas holiday lighting features 650 luminous lanterns. The luminous displays, designed by LAB at Rockwell Group, are mesmerizing. The lights are synchronized to popular holiday tunes and will show an hourly light show. The lighting displays will also feature Wishing Stations where visitors can send their wishes to the lantern canopy to activate the magical display.
Oshkosh Celebration of Lights
The Oshkosh Celebration of Lights runs along the shore of Lake Winnebago at Menominee Park every evening from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The 1.2 mile course is filled with holiday lights. There is even a 100 foot tree with sculptured scenes. A special donation program gives visitors a dollar off admission.

Tanglewood Park Festival of Lights
The Tanglewood Park Festival of Lights is a drive-through light display that is open to the public each winter. Visitors can either drive through the course in their own vehicle, or take a hayride for a small fee. The light show began in 1992 and is now over four miles long, featuring over 180 illuminated displays and 70 animated displays.
The festival is a community tradition that brings holiday cheer to the Triad. It takes place nightly from 6 p.m. until midnight on December 31, 2022. The lighting of the lights is accompanied by musical performances from UNC School of the Arts. In addition to the lights, the festival also includes interactive musical displays. There are more than 80 displays and original compositions by students from the UNC School of the Arts.
