Hotel Colorado

The Hotel Colorado is a historic building in downtown Glenwood Springs. During the holidays, the hotel is illuminated for the season. The event was first held 32 years ago by the hotel’s former owners. At first, the holiday lighting ceremony consisted of a craft show, but that has since been discontinued. The hotel dates back to the days when the town was officially known as Defiance. Silver baron Walter Devereux constructed the soaring 125-year-old landmark.

This year, the Hotel Colorado will hold its 26th Annual Festival of Lights. The event will feature holiday performers and symphonies playing holiday favorites. The hotel’s website says the hotel will light more than a million Christmas lights. The event begins at 4:30 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m.

The annual event is a tradition in Glenwood Springs. The historic hotel is decorated for the holidays by volunteers from History Colorado Preservation Programs. The event will include a free photo booth and a gingerbread competition.

Hotel Bethlehem

The holiday season is in full swing at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem. The hotel is filled with festive decor, including two 16-foot Christmas trees and a gingerbread model. There is also a Nativity scene in the lobby. The hotel was once famous for hosting Moravian putz performances. The lobby is also the venue for annual family Christmas photos. Each December, the hotel hosts a professional photographer to capture guests’ memories of the holidays.

The historic Hotel Bethlehem is the epicenter of the Christmas city, and the holiday season is a time for tradition and merriment. Decorated Christmas trees and family-friendly Santa brunches are a highlight of the season, and guests can enjoy one of two on-site restaurants. One of the restaurants even serves seasonal, locally-sourced produce.

Located downtown, the Historic Hotel Bethlehem offers a beautiful Christmas experience. The elegant landmark is decorated with over 35,000 twinkling lights and features a life-size nativity display. The second-floor mezzanine offers a beautiful view of the holiday crowd, the hand-painted nativity scene, and the main entrance. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s fifteen-foot Christmas tree. Visitors can even purchase a collector’s edition ornament depicting Historic Bethlehem.

Hotel Galvez & Spa

The Holiday Lighting Celebration at Hotel Galvez will begin with a visit from Santa Claus in a carriage. Then, Mayor Jaworski will count down with the crowd as the lights illuminate the hotel and the Christmas tree. In addition to lighting the trees, the holiday festivities will feature a gingerbread display created by Executive Chef Jerry Helminski. Guests can also sample holiday specialty drinks at the lobby bar. The festivities are sponsored by Mitchell Historic Properties.

Guests can enjoy the holiday lighting at the Hotel Galvez & Spa on November 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. The holiday celebration will also include holiday entertainment, holiday gifts, and special appearances from Santa Claus. Mayor Jaworski and Queen Victoria from Dickens on the Strand will also attend the event. The event is sponsored by Mitchell Historic Properties and the Mitchell Family.

The Grand Galvez is a landmark hotel in Galveston, TX, on the island’s famed Seawall facing the Gulf of Mexico. It has been serving guests from around the world for more than 100 years. It has been designated a AAA 4-Diamond hotel and has hosted U.S. Presidents, beauty pageant contestants, movie stars, gamblers, and other famous guests.

Hotel Nemacolin

The holiday season comes in many different forms, and the holiday lighting for Hotel Nemacolin is no exception. There are beautiful decorations throughout the resort, including a living canary in a cage. The hotel also has various dining options, a cigar lounge, and a renowned golf course. If you are looking for a family getaway, you’ll love this quaint resort.

The Nemacolin Resort’s holiday programming kicks off Nov. 27, with “Unwrapped at Nemacolin.” This event will feature live music, light displays, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. There will also be a performance by the New York City Ballet on Dec. 6.
